     JSC "Research Institute of Materials Science" has manufactured silicon detectors for all recording systems of NUCLEON equipment by original technology; this includes pad detectors for the charge measurement system, as well as strip detectors for the energy measurement system and microcalorimeter. The original manufacturing technology allowed reaching record levels of dark currents of these detectors - less than 4 nA / cm2, which, in particular, provides a low level of noise in recording systems. In total, more than 7m2 detectors (more than 800 detectors) were manufactured.
